Why Veezy Chose Jazz
Jazz was born in America. It started in NOLA and evolved drastically in such a short period of time. That evolution reflected the fast-paced change of the country as it came out of the first World War and, for many years, Jazz was a leading contributor to keeping citizen morale up across the nation.
The quick growth and development of the U.S. as it picked itself up from the War did happen because of work ethic.

Positive interaction and change powerfully influence both economy and social growth. Music is a universal language that brings people together, spurs creativity, and is a constant in all societies. Without music, life would stagnate and new ideas wouldn't be put to use in creative and artistic ways. People wouldn't have a vital and valued positive outlet to come together in.

Veezy chose to become a jazz artist because jazz represents change and collaboration. Jazz music maintains its foundational roots and uses those roots to expand into new creative territory.

It is loved by many other countries. For the U.S. specifically, jazz was an art movement during a time when America was trying to regain momentum. Jazz was a significant catalyst in reshaping nation cultural and socio-economic structure.
