Veezy Coffman is a traveling freelance musician that has a focus in jazz, 70s-80s pop, blues, and folk. She primarily works as a saxophonist around WV, KY, and OH. Veezy also plays guitar, ukulele, piano, and sings.

 ​

Veezy's music career began during her junior year of high school. Her mission is to instill stronger community patriotism, heritage pride, faith, family, and art awareness in the Appalachian region in such a way that can be extended to the world community to ultimately enhance both global economy and culture.

 

She has received a formal jazz education under the instruction of pianist, Bob Thompson, as well as from Marshall University. Veezy obtained two Bachelor's Degrees in April of 2024, one in Jazz Studies and the other in Entrepreneurship. As of October 2025, she completed a Master's degree in corporate management from The University of Edinburgh (Scotland).

Veezy has released three albums and four singles: 'Pinstripe' (jazz), 'Brave Brigade Pirate' (folk), 'One Day Older' (folk and pop), 'Spirit of '76' (jazz), 'The Devil Plays' (indie), and 'This Much is True' (folk), and 'Chayil' (indie).

Veezy is also a novelist and runs a craft business with her sister and mother. Her business, La bonne affaire du Madrigal, centers around original literary works, old-world crafts, and music. Veezy got her nickname at one of the first restaurants she performed in. The barista, a spirited woman named Heather, nicknamed Veezy.
